Just In: Mahama’s Lawyers Asks Chief Justice To Delay Today’s Hearing By 2 Hours

This portal understands that the counsel for the petitioner in the 2020 elections have officially written to the Chief Justice, who is also the chairman of the 7-member panel hearing the election petition to delay today’s proceedings by 2 hours.

The delay, according to the petitioner’s lawyers, is to allow the lead counsel for the petitioner, Mr Tsatsu Tsikata to adequately factor the response made by the respondents to his motion for a review and a stay of execution in his argument.

The letter, written on the letterhead of Lithur Brew and associates, was addressed to the Chief Justice.
