Just In: Mahama’s 3rd Witness, Rojo Mettle-Nunoo To Testify Via Video Conference – Akoto Ampaw Raises Objections

The third witness of the petitioner in the ongoing election petition, Mr Robert Joseph Mettle-Nunoo is expected to testify via video conference this morning.

Mr Mettle Nunoo was one of two persons who represented the petitioner at the Strong Room of the EC during election 2020.

Counsel for the 2nd respondent, Mr Akoto Ampaw has raised concerns with the remote testimony, complaining that the witness will need a Judicial officer with him to ensure that he is not being prompted by a 3rd party.

Mr Tsikata agreed with Mr Akoto Ampaw’s objection, clarifying that he has no issues with a Judicial officer being dispatched to observe the testimony.
