Judicial Interference: Did SC Judges Come And Dance Kpanlogo In Parliament? – Bagbin Quizzed

A lecturer with the Kumasi Technical University, Dr. Samson Anomah, has taken a swipe at Hon. Alban Bagbin for criticizing the Supreme Court after it had ruled on a petition challenging the decision of First Deputy Speaker Joseph Osei-Owusu to be counted as part of the quorum to pass the 2022 budget.

Dr. Anomah who was clearly not happy with the critique made by the Speaker of Parliament stated on Wontumi TV that he is surprised by Hon. Bagbin’s comment that the Supreme Court is interfering with the works of Parliament.

According to him Hon. Bagbin is making it look like the judges had descended into the chamber of Parliament dancing to ‘Kpanlogo’ tunes.

He continued that he sometimes gets confused about the role Hon. Bagbin plays noting that “I sometimes wonder if he is still an NDC MP or our Speaker of Parliament”.

He added that the actions of Hon. Bagbin proves that he is “too playful and not fit to occupy the post as Speaker of Parliament”.
