John Mahama’s Aide Begs For Mercy For Rev Owusu Bempah

An aide to former president John Dramani Mahama, lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe is pleading with the government to intervene and pardon Rev Owusu Bempah.

This comes after the controversial man of God was hit with fresh charges together with his junior pastors.

Rev Owusu Bempah was arrested for storming Nana Agradaa’s residence to threaten her life and ordering an assault on police officers who came to his church to arrest him.

Speaking on Okay FM, Lawyer Tamakloe said Ghana’s justice system allows for an out of court settlement and he’ll be happy Rev Bempah is pardoned and in the worst scenario made to sign a bond to be of good behaviour.

“But for me, the long and short of it all is that, as we move on with this matter, cool heads must prevail. Even in our criminal matters, they are allowing out-of-court settlement and so that possibility exists,” he pleaded.
