Renowned scholar and former rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Prof. Stephen Adei has launched a vehement defense of his earlier assertions that Ghana will become worse off if John Mahama becomes President.
According to the distinguished professor, the former President does not possess attributes like strategic thinking, amongst others which are required to lead a country like Ghana.
“The above argument leads to whether Mahama has the leadership qualities to lead Mahama/Naana duo to make a difference in Ghana in the one term in four years. In that regard, I stand by my assertion which I made 16th October 2016…it still holds; John Mahama today as he was then, does not have the full complement of leadership competencies to lead Ghana, be it on vision, strategic thinking, selecting or leading even a team B, curbing the menace of corruption or prosecuting a credible development agenda”.
Prof. Adei who was speaking on Joy SMS with Kojo Yankson emphasized that “Ghana will become the worse off if Mahama becomes president again.”
According to the good old professor, the NDC has done itself and Ghana a great disservice by fielding John Mahama again as a one term candidate, noting that even among those who contested Mahama were better candidates.
