An Akyem royal, Etwienana Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben II, has lamented the inability of the NPP to arrest corrupt officials in John Mahama’s administration.
Nana Oteatuoso made special reference to John Mahama’s comment that, “if President Akufo-Addo has asked the Auditor General, Daniel Yaw Domelevo, to go on leave, he will also allow the Chief Justice to follow suit if he comes to power.”
On Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show on Tuesday he said that failing to arrest the corruption suspects in the NDC has made them regain their offensive voice to threaten the NPP with arrests if they came to power.
According to Nana Oteatuoso, if there is indeed justice in the country, former Minister of Transport, Dzifa Attivor, who openly said she would be arrested if the NPP comes to power would not be walking freely.
The Etwienana regretted that, because the NDC MPs who received double salaries in John Mahama’s tenure have been made to go scot-free, they now make self-righteous statements.
