John Boadu Declares Intention To Continue As NPP General Secretary Beyond 2022
General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has confirmed that he intends to seek re-election when nominations open.
Speaking on Joy FM on Monday John Boadu said he has no desire to stand down from his post and will sure vie to continue beyond 2022 which the NPP will have their internal elections.
Mr Boadu, who turns 52 this month, has served in many capacities in the NPP, including National Finance Officer, National Youth Treasurer, National Youth Organizer, National Communications Director (Deputy), National Organizer, and now General Secretary.
Former MP for Suhum, Fred Opare Ansah and John Boadu’s current deputy, Nana Obiri Boahen, are but a few who’ve signaled intentions to challenge Mr Boadu for the position when the party votes next year.
