JFK Is Continuing John Boadu’s Work To Make NPP Attractive – Ayisi

The current General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK) is continuing the work that was done by his predecessor, John Boadu in order to make the party attractive ahead of the 2024 general elections, Communications Director at the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) George Ayisi, has said.

Mr Ayisi expressed optimism that the works of JFK will yield positive results for the party going forward.

Speaking on the New Day show with Johnnie Hughes on TV3 Friday September 23, Mr Ayisi who is also a member of the NPP’s communications team said “Whatever John Boadu did,  JFK is continuing to ensure that our party is attractive to the Ghanaian voter. We are very positive and optimistic that it will yield positive dividends.”

JFK polled 2,837 of the total valid votes cast to beat the then incumbent John Boadu, who polled 2,524 votes in the internal elections held at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, July 17.

He subsequently appealed to losing candidates in the just-ended national delegate conference of the party to come together.

Like the five fingers of the human hand, he said, the new team can best function when every comes onboard to work together.

“I therefore, entreat all and sundry to put on their boots and reach out to the nooks and crannies of the country in our bid to recapture lost parliamentary seats and secure another victory in 2024.

“I salute all contestants for their bravery and tenacity. Indeed, the journey across the country was no easy task. More importantly, there are no losers and winners in the dictionary of the NPP as we remain the offsprings of a single womb.

“Let us, therefore, put aside the little differences that arose during the campaign and electioneering period, work together and make history in 2024,” he said in a statement.
