Third witness for the petitioner in the ongoing election petition at the Supreme Court, Rojo Mettle-Nunoo has admitted that he was served tea by the Electoral Commissioner, Jean Mensah when he went to consult her on some irregularities he had observed during the collation of results.
This comes after lawyer for the first respondent, Justine Amenuvor put it to him that he left the strong room to sip tea with the EC boss.
In disagreement, Mr Nunoo said “I was served tea but not with biscuits,” making the court bust out in laughter.
Mr Mettle Nunoo explained that he had gone to see the EC Chair in order to raise some important objections about the process.
