It appears that counsels for the 1st and 2nd respondents in the ongoing election petition have combined their forces to push counsel for the petitioner, Tsatsu Tsikata in a ditch.
The Supreme Court was thrown into a state of shock when counsel for the 1st respondent, Justin Amenuvor, informed the court that he does not wish to call any witnesses.
This was met with fierce resistance from Mr Tsikata, leading to a spurrious back-and-forth between the bench and Mr Tsikata.
Mr Akoto Ampaw on his part, argued that he also does not wish to call any witnesses since he is convinced that the petitioner has not adequately discharged the burden of proof.
The Court presided over by Chief Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah ruled that both sides should put together their arguments and address the court tomorrow on the issue.
