It’s Either We Accept E-levy Or Gov’t Stops Its Social Intervention Programmes – Kusi Boafo

Kusi Boafo, Head of Public Sector Reforms has said that Ghanaians will do posterity more harm than good if they reject the electronic levy.

According to Kusi Boafo, this is the time for Ghanaians to exhibit unity and contribute to the country’s development.

He affirmed to Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi TV Morning Show that, E-levy is the solution to Ghana’s problems.

He demonstrated that some advanced countries encountered severe hardship and they implemented a levy to save them.

Kusi Boafo stressed that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is not the way to go.

He bemoaned that Ghana cannot withstand the conditionalities the IMF will give.

“NDC took Ghana to IMF and we can recall the crisis we experienced. So it’s either we accept it as a nation or government halts its social intervention programs,” he indicated.
