It Was In Ghana’s Interest – PPP Lauds Minority Walk-Out On Agyapa Deal

The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has lauded the Minority In Parliament for staging a walk out when the Agyapa Mineral Royalties deal was brought before Parliament for debate.

Addressing journalists on Thursday, running mate for the party Kofi Asamoah-Siaw noted that the deal was an orchestrated plan to loot the nation of its mineral royalties, adding that the Special Prosecutor, Martin Amidu did a good job on exposing the fraud in the deal.

PPP explained that the Minority acted in the best interest of Ghana with the walk out and called on President Akufo-Addo to sack the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta for superintending over a fraudulent deal.
