IMF Will Force Gov’t to Cancel Free SHS, Please Accept E-levy – Okyere Baafi Begs Constituents

Lawmaker for New Juaben South, Michael Okyere Baafi has rallied his constituents to support the e-levy.

According to him government has no option than to adopt the controversial bill in order to fulfill many of its developmental projects.

He said going to the IMF will force the government to cancel some of its policies like the free shs thereby increasing the hardships in the country.

Okyere Baafi further claimed that some NDC MPs are encouraging the Majority to push hard for the e-levy to be passed.

He said although the Minority are publicly opposing the bill, they privately urge the Majority to push hard so it can be passed because they’re in power.
