I’m terrified – Asiedu Nketsia Talks About Source Of Funds For Political Activities

The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketsia, has expressed concern over Ghana’s democratic future.

On Joy News Newsfile, Asiedu Nketsia responded to a report from the CDD saying that nine people were involved in criminal activities such as financially supporting political parties’ campaigns.

According to Asiedu Nketsia, this has always been the case. He went on to say that when politicians need money, these people approach them, and out of desperation, they accept the money without asking where the money came from. After the elections, they typically identify the source of income.

“In every passing election, the system becomes more monetized. That is why I am scared that unless we as a country find a way of pulling the break, our democracy will be heading towards doom.”, he added.

In other news, Berthold Kobby Winkler Ackon, a Ghanaian YouTube star and social media influencer known as Wode Maya, has explained what he goes through when he visits slave castles.

Wode Maya, a Ghanaian YouTuber, resorted to social media to share his memoir. Wode Maya claims that whenever he visits slave castles in Africa, he becomes emotionally traumatized.

“How can the slave masters be that wicked,” he went on to remark. “How are they going to pay back after all the crimes they committed?” is another question he asked.
