Assin Central lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong says he’s ready to leave Parliament after 24-years.
According to him the electorates have been ungrateful thinking he has been doing nothing for them for the past 24years and therefore it’s important he steps down for someone to take over.
“I’m doing a lot for my people but a whopping 42 per cent of the electorates in the 2020 polls think I’m not doing well, so I’m leaving but would wait patiently to see if any MP can do what I did,” he said.
To buttress the seriousness of his decision, he added: “Even if I’m given 1,000 cows, I will not go back because I want the people to know that I am fighting for their wellbeing and not myself as an MP.”
