Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong says he’s not going to pay any money to veteran journalist, Kweku Baako following a defamation suit against him.
Speaking on Net 2 TV Monday, Mr Agyapong insisted he has a strong case against Kweku Baako and will not give him a pesewa.
It will be recalled that an Accra High Court presided over by Justice Afia Serwaa Asare Botwe found the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central ‘guilty’ of defaming Editor-In-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper Abdul Malik Kweku Baako.
He was given up to 30 days to retract and apologize three times on the platforms he used to defame the veteran journalist fined GHS100, 000 in damages plus the cost of GHS30, 000.
Knnedy Agyapong however still believes he has a strong case against Mr Baako and appealed the case with a ruling yet to be delivered on the matter.
He further warned the NPP to be weary of Mr Baako and Anas Aremeyaw Anas else they will topple the government.
