Hopeson Adorye, a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has chided the Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare for the arrest of Bono Regional Chairman of the NPP, Kwame Baffoe (Abronye DC).
According to him, Abronye was lured by the IGP and CID boss Ken Yeboah to only report the the police to take a statement, however, was arrested after showing up with Dampare and Ken Yeboah putting off their phones to avoid calls from any authority.
He slammed the police for allowing Madina MP, Francis Xavier Sosu to continue walking freely and further insisted the police are engaged in equalisation.
Abronye DC was arrested for claiming former president John Dramani Mahama is in bed with the Al Qaeda group to stage a coup in Ghana.
