Ignore Ghana Police ‘Fake Arrest Claim’; I’m Home ‘Chilling’ With My Wife And Kids – Juaben MCE Nominee

The two-time rejected MCE nominee for the Juaben Municipal Assembly, Alex Sarfo Kantanka has debunked a statement by the police service saying he had been arrested following a viral video of him demanding a return of his bribe moneies from the assembly members.

The nominee was captured on tape demanding monies he allegedly paid to the assembly members to motivate them to vote for him.

Angry residents threatened to assault the assembly members for failing to get them a Municipal Chief Executive, TV3’s Ibrahim Abubakar reported.

But for the intervention of the police some casualty would have been recorded, Ibrahim added.

The Police subsequently released a statement that he had been arrested and granted bail.

Speaking on Neat FM in reaction, the MCE nominee said those claims cannot be true because he has been home with his wife and children.

He further confirmed that indeed he demanded a refund of his monies from the assembly members following his rejection for the second time.
