‘If You Know How Honest The Chief Justice Is, You Will Not Accuse Him Of Corruption’ – Imani’s Kofi Bentil

Vice President of Imani Africa, Kofi Bentil has described the corruption allegations against the Chief Justice as nothing but rubbish.

Chief Justice Anin Yeboah has been accused of demanding a bribe of 5 million dollars from a litigant who is said to have wanted Justice Anin Yeboah to rule in his favor.

The said litigant who is alleged to have been asked by the CJ to offer a bribe has denied the allegations outright, insisting he has never met the Chief Justice.

The Chief Justice himself has also flatly denied the allegations and has invited the CID to investigate the matter.

However, some NDC figures have accepted the allegations against the Chief Justice as gospel.

But Kofi Bentil described the allegations as mere fabrication.

Speaking on Newsfile, Kofi Bentil was emphatic that those who know the Chief Justice know he is a man of integrity.
