If the NPP Can Abandon their Own Party Office, It’s No Surprise they Abandoned 2022 Budget – A-Plus

Social commentator, Kwame A-Plus has lashed out at the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) following their decision to walk out on the 2022 budget.

This comes after the NPP MPs demanded that the General Secretary of the opposition NDC leave the public gallery of Parliament which he refused.

The majority there decided to walk out which gave the minority side the chance to outrightly reject the budget.

Reacting to it in a post on social media, A-Plus wondered why one man seated in the public gallery of parliament, where the media and other citizens are seated cause the majority to abandon such an important sitting.

To him, it came as no surprise because the NPP has the ability to abandon their own party office and therefore abandoning a budget is nothing new.

“How can one person sitting in the public gallery of parliament, where the media and other citizens are seated cause the majority to abandon such an important sitting,” he wrote on Facebook.

“I’m not surprised koraa. If they can abandon projects including their own party office, why won’t they abandon this? I told you that way these guys like abandoning things, let’s change their name to Abandenden People’s Party,” he added.
