Chief Azorka, the National 1st Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has condemned the electoral commission for being picky with the registration of Fulanis in the New Voter Card registration exercise in the Savannah Region.
Chief Azorka said, there was no law in Ghana prohibiting the registration of Fulanis in the ongoing exercise.
He explained that, since the family of Samira Bawumia are Fulanis yet have voting rights, it would be biased to call other Fulanis as not original and as such prohibit them from taking part in the registration exercise.
He said, the ongoing registration exercise led by the Electoral Commission Boss, Jean Mensa was the poorest the country had ever witnessed and that, President Nana Akufo-Addo ever since he was handed down power had failed in everything thing with the new Voters Card registration exercise inclusive.
The National 1st Vice Chairman accused the Electoral Commission of intentionally using problematic machines at centers deemed to be the NDC’s stronghold causing intermittent breaks in the registration exercise.
He however pleaded with Ghanaians to come out in their numbers to indulge in the ongoing registration exercise.
Mr Azorka urged Ghanaians to vote for Former President Mahama in the 2020 Elections as he was the best person now to manage the affairs of the country as President Akufo-Addo has failed miserably.
