If Bawumia Debates Me On Economy, I Will Debate Him On Literature – Prof. Naana Ready To Match Veep Boot For Boot

The running mate of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has expressed her preparedness to debate the vice president and running mate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia anytime the opportunity presents itself.

The Vice Presidential position has in recent times been a slot that is designated for economists in light of the fact that the Vice President is also the head of the Economic Management Team, who see to the running of the country’s economy.

In this light, there have been a debate as to whether the NDC running mate, Prof. Naana, with her pedigree in English Literature, is good enough to match her counterpart in the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is a proven economist.

However, Prof. Naana believes that she can match the Vice President in a debate anyday on any platform.

In an interview on Ghone with Nana Aba Anamoah, the good professor insisted that she was ready to debate the Vice President whenever the situation presented itself, while adding lightly that she will meet her counterpart with literature if he meets her with Economics.
