I Won’t Speak For The NDC For Asiedu Nketia To Disgrace Me; We’ll All mind Our Business – Koku Anyidoho

Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has stated that he will not be speaking for the party ahead of the December 2020 polls.

As to his reasons, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atta Mills Institute noted that he once got embarrassed by the party’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia when he stopped a reporter from interviewing him (Anyidoho) simply because he had contested him and lost.

“When Ofosu-Ampofo was invited to the CID, I went there in my capacity as a former Deputy General Secretary and in an attempt to correct an erroneous comment the reporter made, Asiedu Nketia screamed, ‘who is asking you to interview Koku Anyidoho, don’t you know he has gone for an election and lost? He is nobody at the party so come and interview me because I am the General Secretary of the party’,” he said as quoted by peacefmonline.

He added, “those who have a locus in the party should talk for the party. I will not allow Asiedu Nketia to embarrass me again because of one election that I contested him; he wants to embarrass me, it won’t happen. We are minding our own business; we will support from behind the way we can.”
