A deputy secretary and legal counsel to the President, Kow Essuman has said that from the way the NDC and their flagbearer, John Mahama have conducted themselves with regards to the work of the Electoral Commission, the Party may decide to boycott entirely the 2020 elections.
The opposition NDC has since the appointment of the current EC Chair, being consistent in their criticisms of the commission’s work, especially during the registration exercise.
Having had their application for a court injunction thrown out just before the start of the registration exercise, the NDC has continued to criticize the EC in their management of the electoral process.
Reacting the NDC’s seeming persistent attacks on the commission and their work, Lawyer Kow Essuman says he can foresee the NDC withdrawing from the 2020 Elections.
“I can foresee Candidate Mahama and the NDC boycotting the 2020 elections”. He said.
