I won’t Apologize To Prof. Naana Jane Today Or Tomorrow – Defiant Chairman Wontumi Fires Critics

The controversial Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has hit back at critics who have piled pressure on her to apologize to the newly-appointed running mate of the NDC, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang.

Wontumi, since the learned professor was appointed as running mate has made some disparaging remarks at the person of the distinguished educator, prompting calls for him to retract and apologize.

However, Speaking in an interview on Neat FM’s, ‘Me Man Nti’ programme he said; “I didn’t insult anyone…When John Mahama and the NDC attacked Jean Mensa; where was Naana Opoku-Agyemang? Where was she when they were saying all those things? She said nothing. If she was indeed a good woman why did she defend the Montie 3”.

Even when the host, Adakabre Frimpong Manso had offered him the opportunity to apologize, he insisted that he has nothing to apologize for.
