I Will Restore Peace And Unity In Ghana – Mahama

The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has promised to restore the ethnic co-existence and harmony in Ghana if voted into power.

Addressing the press after acquiring his voters’ ID card on Wednesday, August 5, in Bole, the former President assured of a more peaceful and united Ghana under the watch of the next NDC government.

He sighted attacks, intimidations and victimizations on journalists and other citizens as one of the signs of the failures of the Nana Addo-led NPP government.

“President Rawlings, Kufuor and myself handed over a peaceful country but what country is Akufo-Addo handing over to me in 2021?” he quizzed.

Mr. Mahama encouraged electorates to vote out the Elephant party in 2020 while also calling on Ghanaians who are yet to register for their voter ID cards to do so.
