I Will Destool You If You Sell One Land To 2 Or More People – Asantehene Warns Chiefs

The Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II has warned that he will destool any chief who sells land to 2 or more people in the Asante jurisdiction.

The Asantehene sounded this caution when he chaired a gathering of the Ashanti Regional House of Chiefs.

The Practice of selling land to two or more people has become a very worrying phenomenon in modern day Ghana.

Some Chiefs intentionally superintend over the selling of land to two or more people and sit back and relax as the parties litigate over the land.

However, the Asantehene warns that such behavior will not be countenanced in Asanteman.

He threatened to deal drastically with any Chief who engages in such practice by destooling him.
