Prophet Nigel Gaisie, leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel has claimed credit for President Akufo-Addo’s infamous gaffe during a rally by the NPP at Odododiodio.
The President made a mistake by mentioning the name of the NDC Parliamentary Candidate instead of the NPP Parliamentary candidate.
Speaking on Angel FM, Nigel Gaisie said he consulted with the god of the Korle Lagoon to confuse the NPP and make them make mistakes to show that indeed they’ll lose the election in the Odododiodio constituency.
He said his request was answered by the river god which saw the president commit that blunder leading to the defeat of the NPP in the area.
“On their last rally at Odododiodioo, I went to speak to the Korle Lagoon. The Korle is the god of Accra. I spoke to it and asked if it was true that the NPP was going to lose the elections, he should commit mistakes at the rally. So the description of the president as ex-president was spiritual. His introduction of the NDC MP instead of the NPP MP was spiritual. It was spiritual,” Nigel Gaisie was quoted by ghanaweb.
“The vice president’s wife addressed him as an ex-president, it was spiritual. On the eve of that day we had gone there to do things but Reverend Owusu Bempah was able to counter everything,” he added.
