I Rejected Invitation To John Mahama’s Event Because I Was Given Already Prepared Questions To Ask – Kwadwo Sheldon Makes Shocking Claim

Renowned social media influencer, Kwadwo Sheldon, has publicly disclosed his decision to decline an invitation to the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) Youth Manifesto Launch. The influencer cited concerns over being provided with pre-determined questions to pose to the NDC’s flagbearer, former President John Dramani Mahama.

In a claim made on his social media platform on ‘X’, Sheldon expressed his reservations about participating in an event where he believed the discourse lacked spontaneity and authenticity. According to him, attending such an event to ask an already prepared question, whose answer the NDC flagbearer probably has already rehearsed, is a waste of time.

The influencer’s stance has sparked a wave of reactions, particularly from NDC supporters on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Many have voiced their displeasure, directing criticism and, at times, abusive comments towards Sheldon.

Unfazed by the backlash, Sheldon reaffirmed his political allegiance, stating emphatically that he supports the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and no amount of abuse can change that.

This incident underscores the increasingly pivotal role of social media personalities in Ghana’s political discourse. As the nation approaches its next general elections, the engagement between political entities and influencers is expected to intensify, highlighting the evolving dynamics of political communication in the digital age.
