Popular Kumawood Actress, Ama Boahemaa, popularly known as Mama Kali has expressed her regrets in actively campaigning for the ruling New Patriotic Party in the 2016 election.
Mama Kali was part of the Agenda 57 group who campaigned for the party prior to the 2016 elections.
In an interview with blogger ZionFelix, the popular actress explained that the Party has done nothing wrong but she cannot be in the company of people who have treated her unfairly.
Apparently, out of an amount of GHS310,000 given to the group for their work, only a paltry GHS2,000 was given to her by the leader of the group, Kumawood Actress Matilda Asante.
Mama Kali recounted the efforts she put in campaigning for the NPP before they came to power to the extent of abandoning her home, children and grandchildren for many days.
The Kumawood actress added that she will surely vote in the upcoming election but she won’t disclose who she will vote for.
