I Never Insulted Otumfuor, I Actually Supported Him – Twene Jonas Clarifies

Popular US-based Ghanaian social media sensation, Twene Jonas has clarified that he never insulted the Asantehene, as many people have claimed.

According to him, he actually praised the Otumfuor for speaking truth to power despite efforts by the Ashanti Regional Minister to silence him.

Twene Jonas has been trending on social media over the weekend after he was said to have insulted the Overlord of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.

When he came on Facebook Live this afternoon, many people expected him to heap more insults on the revered Asante Monarch, however, Jonas praised the king for being principled.

He, however, called on the monarch to take drastic action against any of his sub-chiefs who superintends over illegal mining.
