In a candid interview on the Delay Show, Oheneni Adazoa, the popular host of Sompa Nkomo on Sompa FM, shared the unique story of how she met her husband in a surprising twist of fate.

Oheneni revealed that while she was living in the UK, she accidentally dialed her husband’s number instead of her mother’s. This unexpected mistake became the start of a life-changing connection.

After telling a friend about the incident, her friend humorously suggested saving the man’s number in case they could benefit from it when they eventually returned to Ghana.

Following this advice, Oheneni called him again a month later, and their conversations blossomed into a relationship. Interestingly, the two got married by proxy while she was still in the UK.

In 2005, Oheneni finally relocated to Ghana and met her husband in person for the first time. The couple settled in her husband’s family home in Techiman, marking the start of a new chapter for Oheneni.

She opened up about the challenges she faced as a ‘UK Bogga’ trying to reintegrate into life in Ghana, navigating a tough transition from her life abroad.

Despite the initial struggles, Oheneni’s determination and resilience helped her rise above the challenges. Over time, she has become a celebrated radio personality, known for her captivating style and candid demeanor.

Her journey from those humble beginnings to becoming a household name in Ghana’s media landscape is a testament to her hard work and perseverance.
