I Made A Mistake – Akufo-Addo Admits After Embarrassing Bawumia In Cape Coast

President Akufo-Addo has admitted that he made a mistake after claiming in Cape Coast that he never promised the people of Cape Coast a harbour.

The President made this humble admission in an ongoing interview with veteran journalist, Kwame Sefa Kayi on Peace FM.

The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo made a definite pronouncement earlier last week when he toured the Central Region which was in total conflict with a pronouncement made by his second in command, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia when the Party launched its manifesto on Cape Coast soil prior to the 2020 elections.

According to President Akufo-Addo, that harbour infrastructure project was never a part of the list of commitments tabled before him for his second term.

“The commitment was never to a harbour; it was to a landing site,” he said on Cape Coast-based Eagle FM on Monday.

Like an unplanned, poorly rehearsed orchestra, the President’s pronouncement left his Vice President in an awkward position.

However, the President has admitted that he made a mistake. This means the Vice President has now been vindicated.
