I Have Survived Being Undermined In The NDC And I’ll Survive Again – Haruna Iddrisu

Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu says no storm in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) can break him because he has survived being undermined several times and he shall prevail once again.

This comes after internal wrangling within the Minority caucus and NDC following the approval of some minisiterial nominees of President Akufo-Addo.

While Okudzeto Ablakwa resigned from the Appointment Committee, Isaac Adongo broke ranks with the Minority leadership, vehemently disagreeing with their approval of Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.

Addressing the press on Wednesday, Haruna dispelled rumours that the approval Of Ken Ofori-Atta by the Minority was in exchange for a position for the NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia.

“The discussion on members of the Parliamentary Service Board ensued long before Ken Ofori-Atta was nominated as Minister for Finance so it is not true that Hon Asiedu Nketia has anything to do with the approval of Ken Ofori-Atta.

This is the usual viciousness, malicious and despicable lies to tie the two together. Asiedu Nketia is as qualified as any Ghanaian. I have survived undermining, I will survive this one too,” he said.
