US-based Ghanaian Journalist, Kevin Ekow Taylor has said he’s not perturbed by the legal suit filed against him by Assin Central lawmaker, Kennedy Agyapong.
The Assin Central lawmaker sued the controversial journalist for defamation and is demanding damages to the tune of $15 million.
However, Kevin insists he has all the evidence to back claims he made against the legislator and averred that they are going to have a very long battle in court.
The CEO of Loudsilence Midea says he has instructed his lawyers to respond to the suit within the next two weeks.
He said he is going to show the US judge how the honourable Member of Parliament insulted a Ghanaian judge for him to know the calibre of person he is dealing with.
Kennedy Agyapong sued Kevin Ekow Taylor at the Virginia State Court in the United States.
The journalist has been given 21 days to respond to the suit in accordance with US Civil procedure rules.
Mr. Taylor’s tapes are said to have been handed over to the United Nations, Ghana Institute of Linguistics, and another center in the United States to be transcribed into English for easy prosecution.
This was revealed by NPP Stalwart, Hopeson Adorye when he made a comment on another NPP Stalwart, Afia Akoto’s wall.
