Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has denied full knowledge of the details of the much criticized National Cathedral being led by the President, with backing from some Christian leaders.
In a gruelling interview with Bernard Avle on Citi FM, Mr. Oppong Nkrumah claimed that he does not have the full brief of government’s involvement in the National Cathedral.
Mr. Avle specifically asked Mr. Oppong Nkrumah if it was prudent for government to continue spending on the National Cathedral, to which he replied that he did not have the full detail of government’s involvement.
The Minister also claimed that he has asked for the full brief on the subject matter.
Mr. Oppong Nkrumah, when asked by Bernard Avle if government should apologize to Ghanaians replied that he doesn’t think its about an apology or not.
