Vice Presidential candidate ofthe opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has insisted she does go into battles to lose as she hopes to help her party topple the incumbent government in the December polls.
Speaking to Kweku Sintim Misa on Metro TV, Prof Jane continued her fight against politics of insults in the country underscoring the need to keep the moral fabric of society intact.
According to her insults does not solve problems if not Ghana would not have any of them. She expressed optimism in winning the December polls with the NDC.
“I don’t go into battles to lose, I work hard to win and on the battleground of insults, insult by insult, they will “out-insult” me and I don’t see the benefit of that. We shall not get to a level where we think to be politicians, you must insult people, I do not think so. If insults solve problems in this country, we won’t have any problems at all,” she said.
Naana Agyemang is currently on a ten day tour in the Northern, Upper and Savannah regions.
