How Can An “Incorruptible President” Preside Over So Much Corruption – Manasseh Azure Flays Akufo-Addo

Renowned Investigative Journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has flayed President Akufo-Addo for presiding over so much corruption despite his tag as an “incorruptible president”.

President Akufo-Addo, during his days as an opposition leader was much touted as a no-nonsense anti-corruption leader who could deal decisively with a canker that has robbed the country of development since independence.

However, since his assumption of office, the President has been criticized by many civil society groups and individuals for not showing enough interest and strong will in the fight against corruption.

Reacting to the Special Prosecutor’s verdict on the infamous Agyapa deal, freelance investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni lamented the fact that the President was presiding over such heartbreaking rot despite being perceived as incorruptible.
