Greater Accra Region- Covid Cases More Than 10,000

Greater Accra Region is reported to have contained than half of the corona virus cases in the country.

A total of 18,134 COVID- 19 cases have been confirmed by the statistics of the Ghana Heath Service as at today. Out of these cases, 10,087 comes from the Greater Accra Region making the Region to surpass the 10,000 mark.

This is followed by the Ashanti Region, which is the second Region to record high cases and then to the Eastern Region.

There had been the upsurge of Covid cases from when government began easing the restrictions in the country.

However, the North East Region of the country has the lowest recorded number of cases which is 6.
