Member of the National Democratic Congress Communication team, Daniella Mathias has alleged that government’s decision to fumigate various schools as final year students resume is another job for the boys.
Speaking on Accra Fm’s Ghana Yensom show, Ms Mathias said the government’s decision to fumigate various schools is not necessary as students have been home for more than two months.
“The fumigation exercise is another job for the boys. Schools have been closed for two months and you say you’re fumigating. Is the virus there waiting for the kids,” she quizzed.
Daniella said it’s understandable if government is fumigating rats and other insects who may have taken over classrooms in the abscence of students.
She suggested that government rather use the money for fumigation to do mass testing for students.
