Gov’t Lied To Us – Bulldog Slams As He Bemoans Unpaid Menzgold Monies

Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale’s manager, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog has admonished government for refusing to pay customers locked up funds in Menzgold.

According to him, he had an investment with the gold dealership firm till its shutdown and before the closure government had promised they were doing that for the good of the customers.

Speaking on Accra FM’s Citizen show he said, “government told us they were shutting down the firm for our(customers) own good but have refused to pay us. If you were doing something for the good of the customers then why refuse to pay them their locked up monies?”

Reacting to a claim by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta that persons who invested in Menzgold were greedy, Bulldog asked, what’s the definition for greedy?

He explained, “a greedy person is someone who tries to cheat you when you do a business. But if i work hard to make money and decide to invest it in a financial institution what’s greedy about that?”

He stated that the Akufo Addo led government is going to have a hard time retaining power on December 7.
