The Minister of Information, Kwadwo Oppong Nkrumah has announced that the government will open the country’s borders for final year students.
This is to facilitate the return of Final year students of the various institutions who traveled outside the country before the closure of the borders in March.
Final year students, from the Junior High School to the tertiary level have been asked to return to school. This directive was made as the government relaxes COVID19 social gathering restrictions.
The minister however added that students will have to liaise with the authorities of their institutions to facilitate a smooth return to campus.
