The government will later today, Wednesday, hold its second town hall meeting on the controversial E-levy at Takoradi in the Western Region.
The event comes off a week after the maiden public engagement on the policy in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua last week.
The Takoradi event will feature the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta; Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah; Western Regional Minister, Kwabena Otchere Darko-Mensah; Justina Marigold Assan, the Central Regional Minister, and Andrew Egyapa Mercer, the Sekondi MP.
The government has said that the town hall meetings are aimed at explaining the importance of the E-levy to Ghanaians as well as taking feedback and inputs from relevant stakeholders on the levy.
The government also says the feedback will inform it on the implementation of the levy.
