‘Governance Is Not A Joke’ – Jennifer Queen ‘Fires’ Mahama Over Bawumia Comment

In a very cynical way, Jennifer Queen has questioned Mr. John Mahama whether Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia comes to his house to feed on tuo zaafi (TZ) every morning before going about his daily business.

The deputy National Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) believes Mr. Mahama is making governance look like a “joke” with he ought to have been serious.

Her anger stems from a comment by Mr. Mahama that Vice President Bawumia is quite on economic issues because he has been arrested by the dollar.

Mr. Mahama is reported to have said at the launch of the TEIN App held at the UPSA Auditorium in Accra on Monday, that the “hardship in the country has led the nation to a scale we have never witnessed in the last 30-years of our fourth republic.

“Daily price increases, fuel price adjustments and nose-diving currency which has rather arrested the person who said he had arrested it. The dollar has rather arrested him. So we are looking for him we can’t find him. We will ask the IGP if he has the key so that we could find where our Vice President was.”

But Jennifer Queen fired back at Mr. Mahama on Wontumi TV wondering whether “Bawumia comes to your house in the morning to eat TZ?… Do you think governance is about joke?”
