Media personality, Afia Pokuaa Vim Lady has chided Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta over his recent call for a donation towards the building of the National Cathedral.
While addressing Parliament on the mid-year budget review, the minister said about one million Ghanaians are projected to donate GHC 100 monthly using the short code *970#.
However, Vim Lady, who seemed shocked at the minister’s call insisted that he rather needs prayers and Jesus in his life.
She was baffled the minister hasn’t taken notice of schools under trees, people sharing water with animals, among others yet believes donations for a cathedral is a noble cause.
“Ashock for this minister o, we should pay ghc100 for the cathedral? I want to send him pictures of *Schools Under Trees
*villages drinking water with animals
*Villages without clinics.
Let me pray for this Minister. He needs Jesus🙏The whole nation needs Jesus🙆♀️“, she wrote on Facebook.
