Ghana’s Minimum Wage For A Full Day’s Work Can’t Buy A Loaf of Bread – Johnnie Hughes

Television personality Johnnie Hughes is calling for a review of Ghana’s minimum wage.

In a social media post he said the country’s minimum wage for a full day’s work caanot afford a loaf of bread.

Johnny Hughes was criticising the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for their constant denial of the real state of affairs of the country.

He was reacting to the booing of President Akufo-Addo while delivering his speech at the Global Citizens Festival.

The NPP in a statement has stated that the boos were orchestrated by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

However Johnny believes the ruling party is living in constant denial.

He wrote, ““The@NPP_GH says the @ndc is behind those who booed at the @NAkufoAddo. How did they know? Missing the plot and living in sycophantic denial in crisis communication is real too. By the way, Ghana’s minimum wage for a full day’s work, can’t buy a full loaf of bread”.
