Former President Mahama’s “Thank You” tour has been dubbed a “political gimmick” by Mame Yaa Aboagye, the ruling NPP’s Deputy Communications Director.
Mr. Mahama “can weep blood,” she says, and “his methods for a political return to fool many will not work.”
She claimed that the former President’s current tour is full of lies and deception, as well as venomous remarks.
“In his Thank You tour, Mr. John Mahama accuses everyone, including the Electoral Commission Chairperson, Madam Jean Mensa, of presenting to be better than every government that has ruled this country over the years.”
Former President Mame Yaa Aboagye was advised by Mame Yaa Aboagye to emphasize his vision for the country rather than “seeking to make the administration unpopular in the eyes of the people.”
“Ghanaians expect the former President to focus on what an NDC government would do to improve the lives of all Ghanaians.
“The people of Ghana deserve better; enough with the falsehoods and deception.” You had your chance and time, but you squandered it due to your ineptness.
“We accept there have been a few bumps in the road, but President Nana Akufo-government Addo’s has done a commendable job of implementing practical social intervention programs and has accomplished a lot.” Wailing and venting on his tour won’t make a difference. “Ghanaians will not give you the authority to screw things up again,” she added.
