Actor and politician, John Dumelo has wondered if there is a link between development and religion using Ghana as a case study.
In a post, he bemoaned the Ghanaian attitude of being committed to paying more tithes to the church than taxes to develop the country.
Mr Dumelo further decried the converting of factories into churches and why the Ghanaian people spend more time praying for the country in stead of making efforts to change the fortunes of the land.
“Is there a link btn religion & development?Do Ghanaians spend more time praying for Ghana to be better than actually making the physical effort to make things better? We are converting factories to churches and paying more tithes than taxes. Is that the right approach?” John Dumelo shared on Twitter.
