Former President John Dramani Mahama says Donald Trump’s demotion from the White House as US President has huge lessons for Ghana.
According to him, Mr. Trump’s one term presidency shows that incompetence when in office is a recipe for defeat in the next elections.
Mr. Mahama stated that though he does not want to speculate but the outcome of the US elections may have similarities with that of Ghana on December 7.
He intimated that, he hopes just as it has happened in the US, power will change hands to follow the usual Ghana-US election trend and that the West African nation will also have it’s first female Vice President.
He spoke on TV3 on November 8, 2020 with Komla Klutse.
