Seasoned journalist, Kwesi Pratt has played down on attempts by both the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) to give meanings to their positions on the ballot paper for the 2020 polls.
Speaking on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ show, he noted that such superstitious believes have no effect on the elections because the electorates are going to vote for candidates who they trust to deliver.
To him, Ghana is doomed if the leaders the electorates so wish to vote for are highly superstitious because the country is seriously going to retrogress and won’t get anywhere.
He noted that previous elections have seen candidates at number four win while others at number 1 or 2 lose therefore the significance of the position or number is flawed.
